Our Mission

Associated Horse Shows (AHS) mission is to encourage, foster and promote equestrian activities.  Furthermore, that the sportsmanship and healthy competition of the equestrian sport be experienced and embraced both in and out of the ring by the entire AHS membership.

Our Background

It is the goal of the Associated Horse Shows (AHS) to promote the fundamental values of good sportsmanship and tradition, as they relate to the equestrian sport, to all members of the AHS community.  Each year AHS member farms offer a calendar of approximately 30 horse shows in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area.  The member horse shows are open to all, with AHS members accruing points toward year-end awards.  AHS coordinates the various shows and hosts an annual banquet usually at the end of January.   The trophies/ribbons for the completed year are awarded at the annual banquet.

AHS member farms offer a wide variety of equestrian events including Hunter, Equitation, and Jumper disciplines.   Riders in all age groups are welcome to join and compete.

Finally, AHS and the participating member farms solicit comments and input from the equestrian community in order to provide an enjoyable environment for equestrian activities.
